MLaw Andrea Roth, LL.M.
Andrea represents clients in commercial disputes before arbitral tribunals (ICC, Swiss Rules, DIS, CAS, LCIA, VIAC, ad hoc) and Swiss courts. Her main areas of focus include commercial matters, banking law, contract disputes and post-M&A litigation. Andrea also serves as an arbitrator in both international and domestic arbitration proceedings. Another focus of her work is to advise and represent clients in the area of international legal assistance in civil and criminal matters, as well as in enforcement and recognition proceedings.

Acting as counsel for a Turkish construction company in two ICC arbitration proceedings against a Qatari real estate and hotel company in relation to contracts concerning two luxury hotel projects (amount in dispute: USD 10 million).

Represented a former Swiss bank in out-of-court settlement negotiations to resolve disputes over alleged claims arising from money laundering activities.

Provided representation to a bank client in proceedings before the Zurich Commercial Court against the bank regarding claims arising from unauthorised account withdrawals.

Presiding arbitrator in two related proceedings under the Swiss Rules regarding claims arising from the non-delivery of steel (CISG and Swiss law; seat in Switzerland).

Co-arbitrator in domestic proceedings under the Swiss Rules concerning claims arising from a building rights contract (Swiss law; seat in Switzerland).
