Wartmann Merker Welcomes Vis Moot Teams from Zurich University and St. Gallen University (HSG)

Every year, Wartmann Merker proudly supports Swiss university teams in their preparation for the Willem C. Vis Commercial Arbitration Moot – the world’s largest commercial arbitration moot court, with almost 400 teams participating from around the globe. After months of preparation, the teams will gather in Vienna and Hong Kong for the final oral hearings.

As part of this preparation, the teams from the University of Zurich and the University of St. Gallen visited Wartmann Merker for a mock hearing. Anne-Catherine Hahn, Andrea Roth, and Léonie Luterbacher acted as arbitrators, providing valuable feedback to the students. The arbitrators unanimously agreed that the teams are on track for an outstanding performance. We wish both teams the best of luck and successful pleadings in Vienna and Hong Kong!
