Sued in the United States: Liability Risks for Directors and Officers of Swiss Companies

On 3 June 2026, Peter Reichart and Anne-Catherine Hahn spoke at the 23rd EIZ Financial Market Law Conference on international liability risks for directors and officers of Swiss financial institutions. 

The presentation focused on the dynamics of U.S. proceedings and the practical issues this raises for Swiss companies and their governing bodies – in particular, how they can prepare for and defend against the risk of liability claims in the United States.
