New Liability Issues for Financial Services Provider: Léonie Luterbacher's Dissertation now published
In her dissertation, Léonie Luterbacher examines the new liability issues for financial institutions when delegating tasks to third parties (outsourcing). The dissertation is published by the Schulthess Verlag as part of the renowned series Schweizer Schriften zum Finanzmarktrecht.
With the introduction of FinIA and FinSA, the delegation of tasks by financial institutions is now subject not only to uniform regulatory requirements but also to a new private law liability norm. In her dissertation, Léonie Luterbacher analyzes how this new liability interacts with the existing liability rules under Swiss contract law and how it aligns with the regulatory provisions set out in Art. 14 FinIA and Art. 23 FinSA. Her practice-oriented solutions provide valuable insights for both academia and the financial sector.
